The pendant is a nice weight, measures approximately 1" x 1-1/2" 1/4", features a hand cross stitched mountain scene and it has been securely mounted in the setting. The setting is rectangle in shape and is a locket; the mountain scene is protected by glass and the pendant lays nice against the skin. The chain measures 18", closes with a lobster claw clasp and includes a 'Handmade' charm at the very end of the chain. All of the components are made of stainless steel. Please see our description (click on the + to the right to learn more) as to why we use stainless steel for some of our wearable art.
Head For The Mountain Pendant Necklace
Stainless steel is a great alternative to sterling silver! It's affordable, has the look and feel of platinum and antiqued sterling silver. It's a metal that is harder than gold, silver and platinum, resists rusting, tarnishing, oxidation, discoloration and corrosion. All of the findings/components are jewelry grade stainless steel and should last a lifetime.
